To the entire Gershone family,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ethel. I have a plethora of fond memories of her, from my youth, while spending many hours playing in the Gershone's basement. She was a cool mom! My sincere sympathy to all she loved. My thoughts are with you.

My condolences to the entire Gershone Family...I'm sad to hear of Ethel's passing. My college years would not be quite so memorable had I not known the Gershones. I was Jeff's roommate at AEPi, hung out with Roberta a few weeks ago in Las Vegas and have continued my close friendship with Ernie since freshman year. Today the Feldman / Gershone connection continues for the next generation as my kids and Fern and Ernie's are friends too. Although I'd not seen Ethel for many years, I often recall Ernie's tale of her encounter a few years ago with famous author, Max Shulman. He was appearing at Dayton's, promoting a book. Ethel had gone to school with him and happened to be shopping that day. Max caught her out of the corner of his eye, stopped his presentation, yelled out "Ethel" and took the time to catch up with her. I'm sure she really got a kick out of that. Just know that Lisa, Melissa, Rebecca and my thoughts are with the Gershone family.

Fern and Ernie, I just learned of the death of Ernie's mom and I send deep condolences of your loss. May her memory be for a blessing.

My heart goes out to you at this time in your lives and in the days ahead.

Ethel has been to me a very dear dear friend. One of the kindest , sweetest and loving ladies you could meet. I worked for Ethel for over 25 years and we have shared many many memories and conversations.We have laughed together and we cried together. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.
