Ethel Peshlakai

It is with deep sorrow and heavy heart that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Ethel Anne Peshlakai (Morgan). Ethel was born on March 2, 1945, in Fort Defiance, AZ., daughter to Ned and Effie Nelson. Ethel went home with the Lord on March 24, 2026. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Ethel graduating from Riverside Boarding School in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She attended & graduated, with an Associates in Business from Healds Business College in Haywood, California. She was an avid reader, loved the smell of a real book, and the feel of the pages in her hand. She enjoyed yard sales, and yelling "Bingo!". Ethel is preceded in death by her late partner Casimero Alcon, Ned & Effie Nelson (parents), Joe Nelson, Anthony Nelson, Lawrence Nelson (brothers) : Ruth Nelson, Rhoda Paisano(Sisters), Herman Peshlakai and Raymond Peshlakai (sons), Deanna Peshlakai-Engh (granddaughter), Angel Peshlakai (grandson). Ethel is Survived by her daughters Effie Jaquez (husband Mark) and Beatrice Peshlakai-Engh (husband Jon). As well as, Grandchildren: Joseph Gutierrez, Ronny Garcia, Aljeandro Garcia, Timothy Peshlakai, Daniel VerDoot, Shayla Engh, Andrew Peshlakai, BriAnna Peshlakai, Autumn Peshlakai. Great-grandchildren: Lillie Ruark, Tommy Ruark, Jacoby Gutierrez, Castiel Garcia, Anna Bradford, Damian Peshlakai, Ezekiel VerDoot, Anakin Lare (Engh), Ezekiel Peshlakai, Isaac Peshlakal and Isaiah Peshlakai. Service will be held on Friday, 24th of April 2026 at 11:00am at Christ the Rock Lutheran Church, located at 5401 Hood Mesa Trail, Farmington, NM 87401. Friends and family are invited to a repast in the church hall to share memories and a meal
