Ethel Evette Taylor, age 52 of Greenbrier died Monday April 25, 2011 at her home. Born August 22, 1958 in Robertson County, she was of the Baptist faith and a clerk at Ridgetop Shell. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 12 noon in the Mt. Sharon Cemetery with Tim Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the Robertson County Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 pm and again Friday morning beginning at 10 am until 11:30 am. Serving as pallbearers are Kenneth Cooper, J.R. Hale, Billy Hampton Jr., Billy Hampton, III, Brian Rippie and Ben Traughber. Surviving Ms. Taylor are her mother Betty Shelton of Greenbrier, son, Brett (Shelli) Taylor of Springfield, daughter, Jennifer (Billy) Hampton of Greenbrier, brothers, James Thomas Shelton of Greenbrier and Charles Richard Shelton of Jacksonville, FL, sisters, Nancy June Casteel of Cross Plains, Linda Diane Carson of Greenbrier and Katrina Davis of Ridgetop, grandchildren, Landry Reece Hampton and Ashylin Elizabeth-Mae Taylor. Her father, Charles Thomas Shelton preceded her in death.
