Your mom was a true good person. She was kindness and generosity personified. We were so sad to hear of her death. I can picture your family- which had the 3 most beautiful children ever born- as vibrant and young always ready to help our kids. Where did the years go? Our sympathy to you all.
Love,

As a Group Fitness Instructor at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Wynnewood, I came to know Ethel, who attended my class on a regular basis for over a decade. She was like a 'breath of fresh air' as she entered the aerobic studio each Wednesday morning. Ethel always greeted me and the other members with big smile. She often told me how much she enjoyed all of the activities in my class, and the socialization with the other members. I believe that it added to the quality of her life and provided her with a sense of community.

Once each week we all gathered and became one big happy family, and Ethel was an integral part of that family. Unfortunately, the pandemic ended all of that for over a year and a half. As my class and some other 'select' classes are scheduled to return to the JCC shortly, it is with great sadness that Ethel will not be a part of that endeavor, as she is no longer with us.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincerest sympathy to Ethel's family, as well as her many friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. May she rest in peace.

Ethel was a sweet and dear woman who always made my day better after seeing her at the JCC in our fitness class. We were also both long time residents of Penn Wynne and would often cross paths when walking our dogs. Hers was a beloved little white fur ball that lived a very long life, if I recall correctly, probably because of Ethel's love and devotion to it. I would love when she would tell me stories of being a young mother in her PW neighborhood and calling out the names of her daughter's many friends and they would all appear soon after. She also told me about living in South Philly in her earlier life where I believe her family owned a delicatessen. Her grandchildren were all very special to her too and she loved to see them and talk about them. I found her to be a very interesting and engaged person and I will sorely miss her. My deepest sympathy to her family and her current pet, a shy cat that enjoyed her petting and attention. May Ethel rest in peace after a life well lived.
