It is with great sympathy that I send condolences to the family. Ethel was one of a kind. The Powell family was lucky to have had her and Wolfe as part of our extended family. There are many memories from my childhood of playing at their winter residents or being a part of holiday celebrations. She always had the coolest crafts and was sure to tell a story that would make you laugh. She helped to fill part of the huge hole in our lives when Dottie passed. It meant the world to me that my daughter grew to know her as Nanny Wolfe, as it was the closed to a great-grandmother that she had. I'm glad she is no longer in pain and I'm sure she's back to giving Wolfe hell for something.

Wishing you peace and . You were my Aunt Ethel and Uncle Jack "Wolfie". Both of you were in my entire life. I miss the watching bi monthly hair cuts mom gave you two. All the holidays spent together. I still have the pot holders you so crafty made! At last you are with Wolfie and my mom, hugs to you and Jack and give a big one to my mom.

It is with deepest sympathy that I offer my condolences to Ethel's immediate family. Ethel was part of my extended family here in Florida and was like a second grandmother to me and my sister Angela Powell, and more recently known to my niece Mallory as Nanny Wolfe. She was a stern yet loving woman who was never afraid to let you know exactly how she felt. I will always cherish the times spent with Ethel and Jack sitting around the campfires at their winter home at Sun and Fun in Sarasota, FL. She and Jack were welcomed guests at all of the Powell holiday celebrations either at Dottie's (Gram's) house or more recently at Tom and Lin's house. You will always hold a special place in my heart Ethel. I love and miss you, may you be at peace sitting around the dining room table with Jack (Ole Wolfie) and Gram once again!!

Tom and I are sadden by the passing of Ethel. We spent many hours playing Mexican Train dominos with Ethel when she spent the winters in Florida. We shared many holidays with her at our house. She was known to our granddaughter as Nanny Wolfe. She will be missed for sure. May she rest in peace.
Love,
Tom & Lin Powell & family
