Eudocia M. Gonzalez, 78 of North Providence, passed away on Wednesday January 7, 2026, peacefully with her family by her side. Born in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Luis and Inocencia (Aquino) Torres. She was the cherished and devoted wife for the last 53 years of Jesus Gonzalez.
She was a caregiver by nature, raising her three children while maintaining her home. She was an amazing cook and showed her love in the meals that she prepared. Her love of music was often shown in the variety that she listened to, and the dances moves that accompanied the music. Her greatest joy would have to be the care that she was able to provide for her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Time spent with them and her family was always treasured.
Besides her husband she is survived by her beloved children Miguel Gonzalez, Mary Cabrera, and Vielca Gonzalez. She was the proud grandmother of Sasha, Adrian, Jenisett, Jeniya, Miguel, Mya, Max, Kaylee, Keisy, Mikaela, and Ariella. She was the great grandmother of Jada, Alivia, Avery, Elliot, Ezra, Jasai, and Maleia. She also leaves five siblings.
Her funeral will leave at 9:15 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, on Saturday January 17, 2026, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence, RI 02909. VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm.
