Eugene Joseph Calvasina

Loving father, husband and wonderful friend, Gene was simply a loving human being with a generous heart and spirit and superior intelligence. He was a giving, gifted instructor who would go the extra mile to help his students and colleagues alike. He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences and prayers are with his wonderful family. May God bless you and bring you comfort at this difficult time.

I am sorry for your loss. When you lose someone you love, you gain an angel you know. Dr. Calvasina was a great instructor and a wonderful person. He would go out of his way to help you. I still have his phone number in my phone and the letter of reference he wrote me 10 years ago. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dr.Calvasina was my instructor at Southern University. He was a great instructor. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

One of the finest human beings I've ever met. I will miss our conversations and visits. It was truly an honor and a privilege to be one of his doctors. He told me jokes even on days when he felt bad and showed me it was possible to face adversity with great courage. I will always remember him for that. Praying for all of you....

Will dearly miss you Dr. Calvasina. You were one of my best and favorite professors at Southern and it was truly refreshing enjoying your jokes and earning my A out of your course. May you rest in peace, and your family will be in my prayers.
