Eugene L. “Buddy� DuPrey Sr.

Mr. Eugene L. “Buddy� DuPrey, Sr., a 35-year resident of Sebring, Florida, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring, FL. He was 85 years old. Eugene or “Buddy� as he was affectionately known was born in Killingly, Connecticut on May 28, 1925, a son of the late Eugene Dupree and Laura (Tessier) Dupree. Buddy worked for many years as a salesman for a gas company. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Cracker Trail Marine Corps League, the Knights of Columbus, and served as an officer in a recovery program. He enjoyed photography, golf in his early years, and loved spending time with his family. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth M. “Betty� (LeBlanc) DuPrey. The devoted father of Donna Auger and her husband Gerard of Peabody, Caron Kinsey and her husband Gary of Sebring, FL, Cynthia DuPrey of Avon Park, FL, Eugene L. DuPrey of Sebring, FL, Janis LeBlanc of New York, and Patricia Boni and her husband Dennis of Massachusetts. He was the dear brother of George Dupree and Laura Graziano both of Massachusetts. Buddy also leaves his 10 loving grandchildren and 11 cherished great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 25 in Sebring, Florida. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Tuesday, June 29 at 1:00 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
