It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my friend, my brother-in-arms, Gene Ferriter.
We served together in the USAFE at Hahn AB, Germany. A time filled with hard work, dedication, and a bond that only those who have served can truly understand. Together, we faced the challenges of our assignment, we laughed, supported one another, and created memories that would last a lifetime. Gene was more than a colleague; he was a brother to all of us who stood beside him.
Though I am deeply saddened by his passing, I take comfort in knowing that his suffering has ended, and he is now in the loving embrace of God our Father. His spirit, his kindness, and his strength will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to serve with him.
Goodbye, my friend. You will be missed, but you will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.
