Eugene S Giarratana

Eugene S. Giarratana 92 of Toms River died Saturday January 24, 2026, at Rose Garden in Toms River. Born in Vizzini, Italy he immigrated and resided in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Toms River 20 years ago. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1952-1954. He owned and operated Ace Tag & Label Advertising in New York City for over 30 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Lake Ridge Italian American Club. He enjoyed gardening his tomatoes, figs and vegetables, working on his 1979 Cadillac and other cars. He is predeceased by his daughter and her husband Lisa & Alex Gentile, siblings, Giovanni, Vattina & Josephine. Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Josephine Giarratana, children, Joseph Giarratana & his wife Catherine, sister, Jennie Giarratana and 5 grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica (Joseph), Alex, Jacquelyn (Tony), Stephanie (Erik), and 6 great grandchildren, Mila, Selene, Luca, Quinn, Vera & Brooks. Visitation is Thursday 8:00-10:00 AM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral Liturgy is to follow at 10:30 AM at St Luke Church, Toms River with Military Honors and a private entombment at Holmdel Cemetery.
