Eugene Harsch Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 25, 2025.
Eugene Clarence Harsch was born on October 28, 1933, in Provost, Alberta, Canada, to Clarence and Alice Harsch. He passed away on August 17, 2025, in Millwood, Washington. Eugene graduated from Gonzaga University and was married to Carole Lou Morin. He served two years in the Army and worked as an advertising editor for The Spokesman-Review. While at Gonzaga, he contributed to the student newspaper.

Eugene was a talented artist who cherished photography and drawing in his free time. His greatest joy was working on his beloved model train board. He was a member of the Model Railroad Washington State Historical Society and attended Saint Paschal's Catholic Church. Exceptionally intelligent and uniquely insightful, Eugene was known for his dry sense of humor.

He is survived by his son, Fritz Henry Harsch; two daughters, Mollie Gabrielle Player and Allison Ashley Hodson; and five grandchildren.
