Eugene "Gene" Hartis

I will never forget this giving man. I am deeply sorry for the loss. Gene helped me when I lost my husband in 2004. His kind heart, advice and help will always remain with me. Diane you are in my thoughts. Love you.

Gene was a special man. Always with a smile on his face, he was eager to cut up with you any time he had a chance. I was glad I got the opportunity to race with him at Concord Speedway in the arena cars but more so glad to be his friend. If they have race cars in Heaven, I´m sure he and Dad are already getting them setup and ready to go. My prayers and thoughts go out to Diane, Sonia, Gina, and the rest of the family.

Diane, Sonia, Gina & family, my heart grieves with you upon the passing of Gene. He was truly a fine man & a wonderful, treasured friend. Our families have shared so much time & made so many special memories. I can only imagine him being reunited with so many loved ones already in Heaven. I´m not sure if God allows any playful mischief up there, but if He does I tend to think Gene & Wayne could make it happen!!! Gene always had that mischievous smile & Wayne was always ready to jump right in. I have been blessed by each of you & am praying for God´s comfort to carry you through these difficult days. I love you & have been blessed to have known Gene
