Thoughts and prayers to the whole family. I have many happy memories from being at "the dairy" during high school (First Baptist). He was a kind man to all of us kids and we are better for having known him. God bless you all.

E. Gordon was not a BOSS but a friend. I worked with him at Coburg and I found in him a gentleman in all respects and and the whole Hanckel family were Great. I am very proud to have been a member of that Coburg
family. Our thoughs and prayers are with you in these difficult times. Haskell and Shirley Scott, Greenville S.C.

I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Gordon Hay. He was absolutely one of the finest gentlemen I have ever known. He was my "boss" in the personnel department at Coburg Dairy, and was a very gentle "teacher" who had a unique way of letting you know that you "did the job well, but let me suggest ..." Never did he insult you. He was a good and fair man and mentor. I was raised up with the Hanckel family and my love, thoughts and prayers are with Charlotte, the Hay children and grandchildren. I don't think I have ever known a more loving family. We have lost a great friend and will always remember the strength and character of this fine gentleman. May the Lord bless and comfort the family at this sad time.
