Mr. Eugene Steadman Holderness

Gene was a friend through grade school, junior high, and high school and we stayed in touch since then. He was one of the 2 or 3 most talented and outstanding people I have known - brilliant, insightful, original, caring, innovative, and courageous. He was not only good at everything; he excelled at everything he did. Brilliant student, Harvard graduate, business leader, company CEO, wonderful piano player, super basketball star, humorist, lover of his family. It was a real privilege to know him and to be his teammate in 3 sports, and his friend. We are all better because of him and it is very difficult to know that he is gone. My very best to his incredible wife, Susie and to his family.
