Eugene Ernest Lange

Eugene Ernest Lange, 84 of Moffat, died Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at his residence. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday in Salem Lutheran Church near Rosebud. Rev. Terry Atkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Lange was born on August 15, 1941 in Ben Arnold to Bernhard and Leona Goldman Lange. He graduated from Rosebud High School in 1959. He served in the US Army. He married Rhea Kronenberg on October 1, 1966. He was employed in the pipefitting industry and retired from Home Depot. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rhea Lange of Moffat, one son, Michael Lange and wife Chris of Little River-Academy, two daughters, Carla Moon and husband Thomas of Little River-Academy and Cheryl Fellers and husband Jerry of Moody, one brother, Melvin Lange of Rosebud, two sisters, Marilyn Kopriva and husband Jerry of Troy and Dorothy Raper of Temple, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, 418 FM 1772, Rosebud, TX 76570.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
