Eugene Alvin Longe, 79, went to his heavenly home Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Avera St. Benedict Hospital in Parkston. Memorial service will be Saturday, February 8 at 10:30 am, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am, at First Lutheran Church in Lake Andes.
Eugene was born April 24, 1945 to Alvin and Verna Mae (Korth) Longe in Wayne, NE. He graduated from Winside High School and attended the University of Nebraska Omaha, graduating in 1978 with a degree in Construction Engineering. He was united in marriage to Beverly J. He served on the Andes Central School Board and the Fish Days Committee and was a member of the dart league and card club. He loved spending time with family and treasured the times riding motorcycle with Bev and family and watching his children and grandchildren participate in activities, especially wrestling and football.
