Eugene Lopez May 2, 1960 - June 23, 2011 Eugene Lopez of Waco passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 27, at Brazos Funeral Home, with the Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Brazos Funeral Home. Eugene was born May 2, 1960, in Waco, to Joaquin and Victoria Lara Lopez. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jesse Lopez. He is survived by his wife Gloria S. Lopez, sons, Jessie Salazar, Ricky Salazar and wife Tina, Bobby Salazar, all of Waco; granddaughter, Kyra; sister, Gloria Lopez Felkner, of Houston, Tomas Lopez, Joaquin Lopez, Jr., of Waco; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Jessie Salazar, Ricky Salazar, Bobby Salazar, Christopher Arispe, Frank Lopez, Daniel Compian, Richard Garcia and Jim Felkner.
