I bet Gene Nix had one of the biggest welcoming parties that Heaven has ever seen, considering how well known and well loved he, by so many. He was very special to my whole family. (The Blaase and Mouser families)

Words I guarantee without successful contradiction you will never hear someone say "You know, I just didn't like Gene" Gene was a friend to anyone he met and he knew just about everyone in Greenwood. He is loved and will be missed by many!

Gene was a very sweet, gentle man. My Mom {Marjorie Blackburn} lived across the street from Mr. Nix. He was so kind to my Mom and always was so friendly. May God Bless and Comfort you during this time of grief.

Gene was a wonderful, caring friend of many years. Even over the years, we haven't been in touch as much with living away from Indiana, still thought of him. Russell work with him for many years. Phyllis & I, kids where neighbors & friends as the kids were growing up.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gene several times. He was obviously an accomplished individual which is noted in his life history. Above all, he projected integrity, a love for his family, and a love for god.

I met Gene at the Wednesday Morning CBMC Bible study. He was in charge of Prayer requests. You can tell a lot about a man by the way he prays. Gene prepared all his life just for this moment and he has received his "Well done, good and faithful". I celebrate you Gene and your life well lived. You will be missed my friend
