Eugene L. Prukalski, 91, husband of the late Lorraine Prukalski, passed away on December 3, 2025 at Danbury Hospital. Born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Helen (Barnat) and Leon Prukalski.

In his free time, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a longtime parishioner at St. Gregory the Great Church and was involved in many of the church's activities. For many years, he was a volunteer at Danbury Hospital. He enjoyed playing golf, watching the NFL Red Zone, and rooting for the Mets.
Eugene is survived by his loving children, Michael Prukalski, Mark Prukalski (Carolyn), Thomas Prukalski (Karen), and Jennifer Achilles (Steven.) His grandchildren, Andrew Prukalski, Sophie Prukalski, Joseph Prukalski, Natasha Prukalski, Misha Prukalski, Matthew Prukalski, Kate Prukalski, Nicole Prukalski, Daniel Achilles, Alexis Achilles, and Dylan Achilles. He also leaves behind his great-grandchild Christian Makofsky, his sister Eleanor (Norchi) Litchkowski, and long-time friend Maria Guariglia.
