Eugene D. Rigsby

Eugene "Gene / Geno" Rigsby entered eternal rest on December 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and the promise of everlasting life.

Geno was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, Great Grandfather and friend whose life reflected quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for his family. He lived with integrity and kindness, offering wisdom through both his words and his example. Those who knew Geno were blessed by his steady presence, gentle humor, and faithful heart.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine Rigsby; his son, Eric Rigsby (Stephanie); his daughter, Shawnie Ross (Scott); and his daughter, Jill Taylor (Ray).

Geno was a proud and loving grandfather to Megan Frost, Natalie Hebert, David Taylor, Samantha Weibert, Alexander Weibert, Tucker Rigsby, and Bailey Rigsby. Great Grandfather to Sadie, Sydney, Cade, Rozlyn, Niklaus, Theoden and Acacius, each of whom brought him great joy.

Geno served US Army 1966-1968 with an honorable discharge post injury. Geno was fortunate to have survived the Vietnam War.

Geno's faith was an anchor throughout his life. He trusted in God's promises and lived with the assurance that this life was not the end, but the beginning of eternity. We take comfort in Scripture:

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8)

Though he will be deeply missed, we rejoice knowing Geno now rests in peace, welcomed , home by his Savior, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:23)

Memorial will be held Saturday January 10, 2026 1:00pm at Ridgefield Church of the Nazarene, 747 Pioneer St, Ridgefield Washington 98642.
