Eugene Franklin Sebaly Jr. was gifted to this world on August 3, 1995 in Fairbanks, Alaska to Eugene Sebaly and Maria Pineda. He was curious, sensitive, and very playful as a child which made him a joy to be around. He developed a fondness for professional sports, in particular Football and Basketball as he grew into a young man. His most prized possession as a 10 year old was his authentic Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers jersey. Eugene was also an avid fan of Tom Brady, and never hesitated to point out that he and Tom both shared the same birthday.
Eugene graduated from H.M. King High school as a member of the class of 2013. He briefly attended Coastal Bend Community College before deciding to pursue a career in law enforcement. Eugene initially worked as a corrections officer for several years before joining the Kingsville Police Department as a Telecommunications Operator in 2019.
Eugene faced personal struggles and obstacles in life, as we all do. Yet through them all, Eugene was a competent and dutiful servant of the public, well regarded by his peers. He was also a dedicated partner in life. But above all else, he was a loving father devoted to the lives of his children. His happiest moments were going fishing and cooking out with his family.
Eugene transitioned from this life on July 5, 2025, survived by his Mother, Maria; Father, Kevonte; Sister, Breanne; Girl-friend, Taylor; son, Colt; and Daughter, Emma.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, TX. Starting at 5pm, concluding at 7pm, and a Celebration of Life at 5:30pm.
He was a good friend to those that knew him. He was a wonderful co-worker, and an amazing dad. He was and will always be the son of two very proud parents.
