Eugene Lee “Gene” Senter, Jr. was suddenly taken home to be with the Lord and those that went before him on Monday, March 31st, 2025. Gene/Daddy/Dad/Pop had an immensely positive impact on this world with the time that he was given and a part of that is reflected in those that survive him: his wife, Kaye Kelly-Senter and her children, Cara (Jeff) Anderson, Chris (Teri) Kelly, Grant (Mary) Kelly and Patrick (Nicole) Kelly, his daughters, Rhonda (Andy) Mills, Teresa (Marshal) Sanders, Julie (Ben) Sanders and the rest of the Arizona family, his step-daughters, Kathy, Chris and Amy as well as almost 30 grand and great-grandchildren.
As a tool and die maker, Gene contributed to the success of multiple organizations throughout his career including companies such as NCR and General Motors. Gene applied the attention to detail, precision and organization required of a tool maker to his investment hobby in his retirement years only to become one of the most sought-after advisors in his investment club.
Gene enjoyed sports and according to legend, could put a “wicked spin” on a bowling ball to make a 6-10 split look like child’s play. Gene’s enjoyment of sports was second only to the joy that came from spending time with his beloved family. No opportunity was missed to gather with family whether they be local to the Dayton, OH area or in AZ where his daughters reside.
The void left by Gene’s absence is held at bay by his unwavering love that those of us that survive him will always feel and be comforted by. It was simply impossible to question when Gene cared for you; he simply made it indisputable.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-2:00pm, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where a Memorial Service will begin at 2:00pm.
