Eugene Smith Obituary
Survived by his wife of 67 years, Maureen.
Born on a farm in SW Missouri. He had his pilot's license before his 16th birthday.
Served 26 years in the United States Air Force as a pilot flying B-47 and B-52 airplanes. Achieved rank of Lt. Colonel.
Tax Accountant until retired at 70.
A kind, easy going, smart, good man.
Gene had a servant's heart. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone who needed help, whether it was a neighbor who needed to borrow something, a single mom who couldn't afford to have her taxes done or a friend with an emergency in the middle of the night.
Gene had a blessed and well lived life. The world has lost someone very special, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
