I remember Jean as a lovely young woman. She was my big sister, growing up in Brooklyn. Our two families were so close; we shared good times and tragedies. Jean's mom, was my mom and our mothers shared an unusual and long friendship as did our fathers. Jean and I often talked about "the old days," and how precious our relationship was during those years.

I am greatly saddened by her passing. I know she took great pride in her children and grandchildren. Our memories of her goodness lives on. May her memory be eternal.

Heartfelt sympathy from Jim, Natalie and George Venetos. We are sorry for your loss.
We had reconnected with Jean through her welcomed visits to our mother, Mary, a resident at Long Ridge of Stamford. Her compassion was extraordinary.

Our families have a long and storied history which began with Dad, Milton Venetos and Efstathia in elementary school on the island of Spetses.
