Eugenio Celaya, a beloved father, devoted son, cherished brother, uncle, and a friend to many, passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 42. Born on March 4,1983, Eugenio's journey through life was marked by his passion for construction, a field he dedicated himself to wholeheartedly, building not only structures but also strong foundations in the lives of those around him.

Eugenio was a knowledgeable, caring, and dependable person. His eagerness to learn and his love for teaching shone brightly in all his interactions. He took great pride in sharing his expertise with others, always willing to lend a hand or offer guidance. Eugenio's remarkable ability to connect with people stemmed from his warm personality; he had a way of lighting up any room he entered. As the life of the party, he loved cooking and baking for his friends and family, creating delicious dishes that brought everyone together. His presence was a source of comfort and joy, making those around him feel loved and welcomed.

An outdoor enthusiast, Eugenio cherished camping and hiking, which allowed him to enjoy nature while bonding with his loved ones. His passion for history reflected his understanding of the importance of the past in shaping our society today. In his downtime, Eugenio enjoyed playing chess, cards, dominoes, and even indulged in computer games, often challenging friends and family to friendly competitions.

Eugenio's career in construction was a source of immense pride for him. He not only built a successful career but also started his own company, which became a testament to his dedication and hard work. Above all, he cherished his role as a father. He took great pride in educating his two children, Juan Eugenio Celaya and Analissa Celaya, nurturing their growth and guiding them towards their futures.

Eugenio is survived by his loving girlfriend, Maribel Guayante, who stood by him through thick and thin. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever resonate among his family members: his mother, Sofia Reynoso; his brother, Gaston; and his sisters, Leslee, Lorena, and Francis. He is also remembered by his maternal grandparents, Juan and Sofia Reynoso, who cherished him deeply, Preceded in death by his father, Eugenio Celaya.

His funeral services will be held on September 12, 2025. A visitation will take place at Martinez Funeral Chapels in Nogales from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2:00 PM.

Eugenio Celaya will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. His loving spirit, infectious laughter, and generous heart will continue to live on in the memories and stories shared by his family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Eugenio. Your legacy of love will never be forgotten.
