Eula Louise Endecott, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born on July 18, 1934, to Roy George Collins and Nellie Grace (Collins) Jones on Sunny Slope, a beautiful spot overlooking the Snake River. Louise was the youngest of seven children and grew up with a deep love for the people in her life.
Louise was a devoted mother and grandmother, and her family was always her greatest joy. Her love was limitless, and her home was a sanctuary filled with laughter, care, and compassion.
Her infectious laugh could light up any room, and her wisdom was a guiding light for all who were blessed enough to know her. Whether as a mother, sister, or friend, Louise was the heart of her family-a constant source of support, strength, and unconditional love.
From an early age, Louise had a natural gift for connecting with others. She had a warm, approachable nature and could always find a friend among strangers. Over the years, Louise formed many lifelong friendships that brought her great joy. She was introduced to her future husband, Doug Endecott, by her dear friend Pat Galvin, and together, Doug and Louise built a life full of love and happiness.
Louise's circle of friends was filled with remarkable women who shared in her laughter, love, and adventures. Among them were Lavada Davis, Donna Hupe, Blondie Baker, Fay Book, and May Weible. These cherished friendships were a testament to the kind and vibrant woman she was-someone who knew how to truly make others feel seen and valued.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Nellie Collins; her beloved husband, Doug Endecott; their infant son, Roy Endecott; and her siblings Marguerite, Don, Wendell, Dort, and Robert. She is survived by her children Danelle (Jack) Chandler, Doug Endecott, and Jody Ryker; her four grandchildren Michelle Flores, Andrea (Michael) Check, Jacob Chandler, and Stacie Ryker; her great-grandchildren Chelsey Flores, Julianna Flores, Jasmine Flores, Payton Ryker, Seth Check, Samantha Blodgett, Chandler Check, Shams Qureshi, and Benjamin Chandler; and her great-great-grandchildren Sariah Blodgett and Eli Check.
Although Louise spent much of her life as a stay-at-home mom, later in life she worked as a tutor for Ebronix and retired from HP. She had a deep love for playing cards and enjoyed countless hours with her friends and family, especially during family gatherings. Her warmth, wit, and generosity of spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service to celebrate Louise's life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Nampa Senior Citizens Center at 1:00pm.
As Grandma would always say, "TA-DAH!"
