Logan resident, Eula Hutchinson, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Graham County Hospital, in Hill City, Kansas, at the age of 95.
Eula Marie Hutchinson was born on May 18, 1930, in rural Phillips County, Kansas, to her parents Glenn and Reba (Brotemarkle) Reese.
Eula was united in marriage to Earl Gene Hutchinson on June 6, 1950, in Logan, Kansas.
Eula is preceded in death by her husband Gene Hutchinson, parents Glenn and Reba Reese, grandson John Voss, great grandson Wyatt Davis, great granddaughter Abrienne Davis, and son-in-law Ray Davis.
Survivors include son Boyd Hutchinson and wife Myra of Logan, Kansas, daughters Wanda Davis of Elkhart, Kansas, Glenna Wright and husband Jerry of Logan, Kansas, Anna Hutchinson of Morland, Kansas, and Billee Sell and husband Robert of Fairfield, Texas, as well as 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service in memory of Eula will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the First Christian Church of Logan, with Pastor Troy Buss officiating. Eula will be laid to rest at the Pleasant View Cemetery of Logan, Kansas.
Eula will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, at the Logan Funeral Home in Logan, Kansas. The family will receive friends for a visitation Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan Fire Department.
