Raleigh, North Carolina - Eula Lee Medlin ("Granny"), age 99, passed away on December 2, 2025. She was born April 16, 1926, in Wake County, to the late Ivon Medlin and Beulah Lee Pulley Medlin.

Eula worked at Southern Bell for 38 years as a telephone operator and clerk. She was a beloved friend to all that knew her and never forgot to send cards for every occasion. Eula was always thinking of others and loved everyone. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with family and friends, getting her hair done on Fridays, going out to eat, and shopping at Belk for new Alfred Dunner outfits. Eula was an avid animal lover and was a doting "fur mama" to several dogs and cats over the years.

Eula is survived by her sisters: Ethel Pearce, Frances Pollock (Donald); nephew, Ricky Cornelius (Margo); nieces: Frankie Medlin, Denise Walters (Dwaine), Christie Williams (Sherrill); great nephews: Drew Medlin (Beth), Taylor Cornelius (Emma), Cody Cornelius (CalliBeth); great nieces: Kelly Burger (Kyle), Candis Medlin, Jill Johnson (Damian); and several great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Eula was preceded in death by her brother, Ivon "Junior" Medlin; sister-in-law, Ruby Medlin; brother-in-law, Charles "Smiley" Pearce; nephew, Larry Medlin; niece, Patricia Sneed.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, December 8, 2025, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC. Burial will follow at Clyde's Chapel Cemetery, 16657 Buffalo Road, Wendell, NC.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 11:00 to 11:45 am, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
