Mrs. Eunice O. (Moore) Anderson of Monticello, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday October 1, 2025, at her residence in Monticello, Kentucky, having attained the age of 86 years, 9 months, and 1 day. She was born on Saturday, December 31,1938, in Milton, Indiana, the daughter of Virgil and Alice (Grizzel) Moore. She was the proud owner of Essex Grill. In her spare time, she loved to do crossword puzzles, and she liked to keep a well maintained lawn. Most of all, she cherished her time with her family putting together puzzles, and her fur-baby, Cricket.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Deford" Anderson, children, Ed Moore, Richard Moore, Loretta Miller, siblings, Clifford Moore, Earl Moore, Carl Moore, Hazel Castle, Kathryn Friend, Wilma Brown, Gladys Scott, Audrey Moore, and Robert Moore.

She is survived by her children, Mary (Steve) McLean of Monticello, Kentucky, Vicky Gregory of Monticello, Kentucky, sister, Lucy (Ralph) Myers of Florida, grandchildren, Leslie Gough, Heather Moore, Stacie Moore, Travis (Kristy) Moore, Jessica Sparks, Samantha (Zach) Brantley, Tristan (Cody) Kellam, Cody Landon McLean, great-grandchildren, Dylan, Parker, Octavia, Bryceton, Elijah, and her cat ,"Cricket".

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation and service. She will be buried in Elk Springs Cemetery.

New's Monticello Funeral Home of Monticello, Kentucky, was honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
