Eunice Johnson

Eunice Johnson, 80 years old, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024. Born in Starr, SC, she was the daughter of Charlie Dingle Sr. and Willie Mae Bell Dingle. Eunice was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, a 1964 graduate of New Deal High School and she was retired from Dow Badische. Eunice loved to dance and was a lover of Buicks - she had to have one and it had to be Black. As time passed, Eunice became very spiritual and loved to attend Gospel Concerts. Eunice was the financial guardian of many of her relatives and always kept good records of their funds, showing what and how their funds were spent.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Will Mae Dingle, Sr.; her son, Truman Fitzgerald Johnson; siblings, Fannie Johnson, J.C., Charlie Jr., James Willie, Sara, Eulean and Ruby Dingle.
Eunice leaves to cherish fond memories two daughters, Christina Johnson Suddarth (David), Anderson, SC, and Bereta Monique Johnson, Starr, SC; son, Terry Matthew Johnson, Starr, SC; siblings, Eula Clayton and Rachel Diingle, Anderson, SC and Johnny Dingle, Iva, SC; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside service is 2 pm Thursday, at Pine Grove Memorial Gardens, Iva, SC.
Family members are at their respective homes.
