Dr. Eunice Hall Magee

So sorry sorry for your loss. My support and prayers are with you in the days to come.

Dr. Magee was my mentor at SLU as my graduate advisor. Her keen insight and wise suggestions aided me many times. But her love for her students, especially those who were no longer dependent on her, became evident after the death of my mother in 1977. She not only wrote a letter of sympathy and encouragement, but she also came to my mother's funeral to show her support. I'd lost track of her over the years, but her influence in my life continues. Through me, she has touched the lives of students she never knew. She leaves behind an amazing legacy.
