Eunice H Guyon Ohrt of Dorchester Mass passed away on October 24, 2024. She was 98 years old.
Eunice was born in Chicopee Mass to the late James Guyon of N.Y and Helen Delaney Guyon of Ireland. Wife of the late James Ohrt of Mass.
Eunice loved to cook for her large family of children. She loved to travel with her best friend Anne Butts. She loved to garden and was a ferocious reader of literature. After her children were grown, Eunice worked for The Mass. Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. She was an integral part of the creation of Quilting for Seniors at the Kit Clark Center. She made beautiful quilts for each of her children and many for her grandchildren.
Eunice was a devoted loving mother of 10 children. She cared and provided for them as a single parent. She tried her absolute best to put a smile on each of her children's faces. Her tireless years of care and support have left an indelible mark on each of her children. Anyone who knew her was always amazed at her grit and determination to be a mother to so many and the glue that held our family together. She was also a loving and caring Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
