Eunice Lee Smith was born Eunice Lee Parker in Suffolk, Virginia, on March 23, 1933, to Nannie Brown and Joseph Parker. She was raised by her stepmother, Ada Clavon. Eunice was predeceased by her beloved sister, Jessie Mae Wilson, and her brother, Moses Brown. She retired as an Environmental Service worker in 1998 at a nursing home in Norfolk, Virginia.

Eunice was a devoted mother to her six children: Jeanette "Polly" Cromwell, her husband Alvin Cromwell, Eunice "Elaine" Smith, the late Laurice "Edie" Smith Jennings, Wendy Parker, her companion Livingston Collins, Brian Parker, his wife Stephanie Parker, and Dondra Parker. As a matriarch, she extended her love to her growing family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and unwavering faith.

Her memory will live on through her thirteen grandchildren: Anissa Cromwell, Chanda Cromwell, Antoine Jennings, and Chester Jennings, Jr., Ashley Manzano, Curtis Cutler, Shenetta Parker, Rakeen Parker, Brian Parker, Brittany Parker, Jicara Quinn, Carlos Parker, Asia Parker, and fifteen great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. Her memory will live on through them and through the countless lives she touched with her warmth and wisdom.

A dedicated member of St.Mark United Church-Christ, Eunice's acts of kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Whether through her community involvement or her daily actions, she demonstrated what it meant to love and care for others.

"God is good all the T-I-M-E"- Eunice Lee Smith
