La señora Eva Chávez Salazar, de 69 años, fue convocada a la esperanza eterna de salvación el 11 de febrero de 2025 en Laredo, Texas. Eva fue miembro de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días. Su amor, carisma y fidelidad a Cristo serán recordados por siempre.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres: Cresencio Chávez y Silveria Salazar Arellano y sus hermanos: Elia García Salazar, Teofila Ortega Salazar y Mario Chávez Salazar.
Para atesorar su memoria, le sobreviven sus hijos: Daniel Flores Chávez, Armando Flores Chávez (María Cristina), Isaac Flores Chávez (Norma), Miriam Flores Chávez, Wenceslada Flores Chávez, Ricardo Flores Chávez y Brenda Flores Chávez, 40 nietos, 23 bisnietos, hermanos: Adán Gómez (Gloria), Gloria Gómez Salazar, Martha Gómez Salazar y Maricela, sobrinos, sobrinas, otros familiares y amigos.
La familia recibirá sus condolencias desde las 7 a.m. hasta las 10:30 a.m. en Hillside Funerals and Cremations, el viernes 14 de febrero de 2025.
La procesión partirá a las 10:40 a.m. hacia la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días en Hillside Road para que comience el servicio fúnebre a las 11 a. m., oficiado por el obispo Raymond Solís.
El entierro y la dedicación de la tumba se realizarán inmediatamente a la 1:00 p.m. en el Cementerio de la Ciudad de Laredo.

Mrs. Eva Chavez Salazar, 69, has been summoned the eternal hope of salvation on February 11, 2025, in Laredo, Texas. Eva was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. Her love, charisma, faithfulness to Christ, will forever be remembered.
She was preceded in death by her, parents: Cresencio Chavez & Silveria Salazar Arellano and siblings: Elia Garcia Salazar, Teofila Ortega Salazar, & Mario Chavez Salazar.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Daniel Flores Chavez, Armando Flores Chavez (Maria Cristina), Isaac Flores Chavez (Norma), Miriam Flores Chavez, Wenceslada Flores Chavez, Ricardo Flores Chavez, & Brenda Flores Chavez, 40 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, siblings: Adan Gomez (Gloria), Gloria Gomez Salazar, Martha Gomez Salazar, & Maricela, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolence from 7 A.M. until 1030 A.M., at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, Friday, February 14, 2025.
The procession will depart at 10:40 A.M., to the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints on Hillside Road for the funeral service to begin at 11 A.M., officiated by Bishop Raymond Solis.
Internment and the dedication of the grave will immediately follow at 1 P.M. at the Laredo City Cemetery.
