Eva Mae Feaster, known fondly as Matriach Mrs Eva, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026. Born in Jackson, MI on July 31, 1946, Eva Mae was a pillar of love and strength, continually leading her family and community with unyielding dedication and a spirited zest for life. With her nurturing spirit and a heart full of compassion, she touched the lives of everyone she met, her impact reaching far beyond her family circle to others she came in contact with.
Eva Mae was a supportive wife to her husband, Reginald Feaster, and a loving mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her love for her family was boundless, always encouraging and guiding them in positive directions. A testament to her tenacity and hard work, Eva Mae owned and managed a successful candy store for many years. She also had a notable stint at the Family Dollar retail store before her retirement. In her free time, Eva Mae found joy in caring for her enormous plants and fish tanks, a reflection of her nurturing spirit.
In addition to her husband, Eva Mae is survived by her sisters Verlean Allen, Gloria (Ronald), Sherian Joan (Willie); her nieces that was often around her,Evelyn Woods, Johari Reeves, Debra Allen and Angila Dawson Garron(Arlowe Garron)daughter/ niece.Her grandchildren Tiffany, Domonique, Amelia, Tearira, Wanna, Lil Leslie, Jerimyah and Zackariah; A host of great grands, nieces, nephews,extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Leslie Wright; her parents Willie Allen and Elizabeth Allen; her siblings Maggie Woods, Greg Allen, Robert (Ray) Thurmond, Darlene Dawson, Michael Allen, and Larry Allen.
Eva Mae's life was a testament to her loving, supportive, and spirited nature, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her. To honor Eva Mae's memory, family, friends and loved ones are encouraged to share their memories and upload photos of her on the memorial page. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
