Eva Lucille Maynard, of Lake City, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born August 6th, 1953, in Monette to the late Andy and Lucy Maynard. Eva was a member of Lake City United Methodist Church.
Eva found her joy and purpose in tending to her family. She was a dedicated daughter, sister, mother, grandma, and friend. She spent more than half her life raising her children and grandchildren, and always did her best at showing them the best fishing hole in town. Eva was happiest when she was sitting on the bank of a river with a fishing pole in her hand and her family by her side. She was loved and appreciated immensely by her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Christy Nelson (Ron Ball), granddaughters Kaylee Green (Dylan), Ashley Staggs, and grandson Mitchell Staggs. She has three great grandchildren: Jaxson Conrad, Shelby Conrad, and Maggie Green. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Mechelle Vaughn, brother, Johnny Maynard (Micah), and sister, Martha Maynard.
In lieu of flowers, please make any donations on her behalf to Lake City United Methodist Church.
There will be a private celebration of her life held in her honor.
