Eva Jean Otis

Eva Jean Otis, 91 of Valparaiso, passed away March 24, 2026. She was born April 29, 1934 in David, KY the daughter of Brice and Lula Shepherd. Eva was a punch press operator at Anderson Company for many years and was a bartender at the American Legion, Eagles and V.F.W. She was a member of Bethel Valparaiso Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her daughters Paula (John) Kraker of Kalispell, Mt and Kathy Smith of Valparaiso and grandchildren, Kandyce Kraker, John Kraker, Dylan (Julia) Smith, Levi Kraker, and Jacob Kraker, great grandchildren Lucy Keith, Zayne Smith, Cynthia Joe Kraker. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Paul Sibo, Robert Veatch and Rollie Otis, Jr., her parents and siblings Brice Jr (Jay), Silvia, Aaron, Arville, Arnold, Annie, Richard, Lillie, James, Ballard and baby Shepherd. Visitation will be held Monday, March 30, 2026, 4-7 pm at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St. Valparaiso. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 31, at 11:00 am at Bartholomew Funeral Home, Pastor Jason Hale officiating. Burial will be Memorial Park Cemetery, Valparaiso.
