Eva Rucker Obituary
Eva Williamson Rucker, age 93, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Saturday, September 16, 2023.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister, Elizabeth Wilson, and brothers, Elemuel, John and Buford Williamson; stepson, Howard Allen Rucker; stepdaughter, Revonda Rucker; and grandson, Clifford N. Steger.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, James W. Harper II; two stepsons, Craig (Marivelle) Rucker, and James Rucker; two stepdaughters, Gaytrice Rucker, and Brenda (Cliff) Steger; fifteen grandchildren, Alicia (Russell) Maddox, James W. (Jeanetta) Harper III, Bryan Harper, Tammy (Fred) Tyus, Aithyni (Kyle) Rucker Robinson, Ehraeda Rucker, Craigen Rucker, Joshua Rucker, Gabriel Rucker, Eugene Kelly, Dominique Mack, Delezear Mack, Kim Steger, April Sanford and Allysia Johnson; ten great grandchildren Tamiah Tyus, Caleb Tyus, Aaliya Driver, Dayton Maddox, Kai Maddox, James W. Harper IV, Julia Harper, Alexis Steger, Quearis Mondesire, Johari Robinson and one great-great grandchild, A’merie Hatcher. Many other nieces and nephews including her devoted niece/daughter, Antoinette Hicks.
