Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bradley Funeral Home - Marlton on May 22, 2022.
Eva Charlotte Wolfe "Lotta" (nee Bothen) passed away suddenly on May 15, 2022 at the age of 63. Of Marlton, NJ. Beloved wife of 37 years to James Wolfe. Devoted mother of Birgitta Donato (Sean), Kerstin Dolan (Jim) and Ingrid Wolfe. Adoring grandmother of Jim III, Annaleis, Maris, Serafina, and Emilia. Loving sister of Louise Cuthbertson (Kent), Elisabeth Putur, and the late Lena McMahon. Dear sister-in-law of John (Debbie), Robert (Teresa), Linda (the late Denny), Stephen (Kate), Janice, David (Judith), Daniel, and Karl Gregory Wolfe. Lotta will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, family, friends and co-workers.
Lotta is the daughter of the late Claes and Ingegerd Bothen. She was raised in Moorestown, NJ and has been a lifelong member of the Trinity Episcopal Church. She has served on the altar guild for many years and cherished the many friendships she formed there. For over 30 years Lotta was a registered nurse and worked in the operating room for Virtua Hospitals.
She cherished the time spent with her family and enjoyed every moment with her grandkids. She loved being around friends, baking, gardening, and traveling.
She enjoyed various hobbies and activities, including: porcelain painting, pottery, knitting/sewing, quilting, yoga, book club, mahjong, kayaking, and enjoying the great outdoors (especially with her five grandkids).
She will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and pure selflessness to EVERYONE. Our mom always loved her family and friends with a dedication that was unwavering and truly awe inspiring. Her husband, children, five grandkids, and her family were her entire world. She was the happiest when they were all together to share a holiday, birthday, special occasion, or even an impromptu meal.
Her bright personality would light up an entire room. Her laugh was infectious, her smile was filled with pure joy, and her eyes were simply dazzling. She married the love of her life and they enjoyed a beautiful life together for over forty years. She was a loving and attentive mother to her three daughters, and a doting "Mor-Mor" to her grandchildren. She will be forever remembered through beautiful memories, and greatly missed by all who knew her.
