Eva Wolfe Obituary

Eva J. Wolfe "Granny" passed away from this life at age 95 in Charleston, WV on April 20, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Helen Scheidegger of North Carolina; and granddaughter, Melissa Scheidegger.

She was born in Jackson County on September 29, 1928. "Granny" is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Myers of Elkview, Cheryl Patrick and Richard Patrick of Palm Bay, Fl; brother, Oscar Rollins (Linda) of St. Albans; grandchildren, Erick Scheidegger of North Carolina, Betsy Myers and Craig Arnold of Kenna, and Sara Myers Campbell of Elkview; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Tobin, Alex Campbell, Isaac and Cheyann Washington; and great-great-grandchild, Hazel Washington; and her special friend, Josh Moffatt (Jill).

Eva was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Granny was a woman known to all as having a generous heart for helping others in every walk of life and will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and community. She was a homemaker and worked for years at the Diamond department store and took many people as family into her home throughout the years. Granny was known for her wit and her hospitality.

Service will be 3:00pm Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Cunningham -Parker-Johnson Funeral Home 1325 West Washington St. Charleston, WV 25302 with Chaplain Pete Thompson officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney at a later date.
