Evalo C. (Telford) Foster, 77, of Salem Township, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2021, in Excela Latrobe Hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1944, in Salem Township, to the late Clarence and Florence (Brown) Telford. She loved to crochet and work in her garden when she was able and enjoyed Bluegrass music. She loved a good picnic and spending time with her family visiting Idlewild. Evalo is survived by her loving daughter, Vivian C. (husband Shawn) Schweppe; stepchildren, William W. (wife Alice) Foster Jr. and Shelly Lynn (husband Scott) Roberts; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Irene (late Kenneth) Bayle; and many nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Wade Foster; and brothers, Blair (Bonnie) Telford and Arthur (Martha) Telford. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, at BASH-NIED-JOBE FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, with her nephew, Pastor Duane Bayle, officiating. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park.
