Obituary published on Legacy.com by Family-Funeral & Cremation - Pensacola on May 15, 2025.
It's with great sadness and devastation, we regret to inform Evan Joseph Kruck has passed away, far too young at the age of 46, after a short but courageous battle with Metastatic Melanoma.
Survived in death by his parents Katrina (Ernie Ball) Kruck and Michael (Donna) Kruck and preceded in death by his grandparents Robert (Dolores) Baird and Clem (Sharon) Kruck. Survived by his brothers Alexander and Jordan (Amanda Reed) Kruck and sister Claire Kruck. Devoted godfather and uncle to Evie and loving uncle to Kylie and Eastin. Evan also has many more beloved extended family members and countless friends.
Evan was born in Kankakee, Illinois. Raised by his mother at a young age, Evan was raised in a very family-oriented life. Evan always had a love for music, fire departments, and ambulances through his youth. Evan was a graduate of Wauwatosa East High School in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where he was a part of the Tosa Players Club.
Evan had a true love for emergency medicine, he loved being an EMT and was licensed in both the state of Wisconsin and Florida. He worked for Curtis Ambulance Services for many years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Evan was also a part of the Escambia County EMS Auxiliary Program in
Pensacola, Florida. Evan also served as a firefighter for the Lillian Volunteer Fire Department in Lillian, Alabama.
Evan enjoyed country music, especially Garth Brooks and Eric Church and attended many country concerts and met many singers along the way. Evan also had a true love of sports and attended endless Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Admirals games with his brother Jordan, family, and friends. Evan was also an avid Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Badgers, Nashville Predators, and Pensacola Ice Flyers fan. He had a true love of sports. A little-known fact about Evan is that he was a longtime Magic card player and met and made many friends through playing.
Evan and his sister Claire had the joy of enjoying many road trips along with a few wrong turns and getting lost on backroads in Indiana and Tennessee, which made for great conversation. Evan also traveled to Florida often to surprise his mom. They had a very close bond that will never be broken and will live on forever.
Evan was a rare breed of kind and had a very loving and sweet soul. Selfless is the word that comes to mind when Evan is thought of. He helped those around him before helping himself. His presence, warmth, laughter, and love will be missed terribly.
