Lee, New Hampshire: Evan Joshua Pygman, 16, of Wadleigh Falls Road died on the 26th of April, 2022 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 4th, 2005 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire; the son of Lonny C. Pygman and Sarah A. Smith.
Evan was a Junior at Oyster River High School in Durham, New Hampshire. Evan showed endless amounts of love to those who knew him. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and younger sister Lauren in downtown Durham. He loved the numerous restaurants and the small-town feel of his community. Evan loved online gaming and enjoyed sharing this experience with his younger brother Kai. Evan had a passion for spending time with animals. He had two rescue dogs in his family along with a kitten. His affection and love of animals was abundantly clear through countless hours of interaction. Evan also enjoyed spending time with his many cousins and extended family in Maine as well as family in Minnesota.
Evan is survived by his parents Lonny and Sarah, his sister Lauren and brother Kai, his paternal grandparents Harlan Pygman and Meri Ault, his maternal grandparents Maynard D. Smith and Cindy Smith, as well as great grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and many extended family and friends.
Flowers are welcome and/or donations in his name can be made to the New Hampshire SPCA.
A public viewing and visitation will be held from 4pm-7pm on Monday May 2nd, 2022 at Purdy Memorial Chapel 2 Concord Rd. Lee, New Hampshire 03861.
