MR. EVAN LANCE TATUM

Funeral services for Mr. Evan Lance Tatum will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 8, 2026, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. James Woodruff and Rev. Mitchell Graham officiating. Interment will be in White Plains Holiness Assembly Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM – 2 PM Sunday, March 8, 2026, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Mr. Evan Lance Tatum, age 45 from Gans Oklahoma, passed from this life in the early morning of March 4th, 2026.

Evan was an avid outdoorsman. He was always happiest on the water fishing or in the woods hunting. He was a hunter dedicated to the still hunt and the sportsmanship of archery. He claimed many trophy bucks and told a many tall fishing tales with pictures as backup.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Bessie Loraine Tatum, his mother, Lyndell Gettis Tatum.

He is survived by his father, Marshal Wayne Tatum, one daughter, Sierra Maner (Tate), two sisters, Sarah Joanna Tatum and Dareatha Tate (Jerry), three nieces, Dana Justice, Destiny Foley (Cass), Deagan Tate and one great nephew, Elliot Blaine Foley and faithful companion, Hulk.

Pallbearers are Cassidy Foley, Jerry Tate, Trace Brown, Justin Graham, Kaden Graham, Lex Graham.

Honorary pallbearers are Butch Freeman, Tate Maner, Elliot Foley, Clint Nutt.
