Evangeline B. (Lake) Benjamin passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 99 years old. Evangeline and her husband were longtime residents of Virginia prior to moving to PA to live with their daughter. She was a very generous person; always giving back to her church and lending a helping hand to anyone in need. She enjoyed gardening, hiking, and generally just being out in the sunshine.
Born in English Creek, NJ on September 2, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Hilda (Channel) Lake.
Evangeline is survived by her loving family including her devoted husband, Robert V. Benjamin; her daughter, Crystal Nippes; two grandchildren, Shawn Butcher and Reshena Dati; six great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren; as well as many other extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Ronald Nippes; as well as her 11 siblings.
Services and interment will be private for the family.
