Evangeline G Delgado

Evangeline G. Delgado, 89, of Victoria, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on June 30, 1936, in Estrella, Colorado, to the late Belarmino Gonzales and Irene Herberger.

Evangeline lived a life devoted to her family and was a source of strength, love, and guidance to all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Maria Boehm, Joe Delgado, Cissy Maxwell, and Veronica Chavana; her cherished grandchildren, Jason, Delaney, Marcy, Claire, Nikki, Stephanie, Oliver, Matthew, and Josephine and 17 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Dolores Lee, Dale Gonzales, and Andy Gonzales.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Belarmino Delgado; her brothers, Reggie Gonzales and Nemo Gonzales; and her sisters, Margie Bennett and Vive Schroeder.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 AM at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home 706 E. Crestwood Dr., Victoria, TX 77901. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2201 N. Main St., Victoria, TX 77901.
