Dearest Van and Family:
I have such great memories of Aunt Vangie when I was growing up. She was always so hospitable whenever I was in your home; truly interested in hearing everything I had to say. I admired her sense of humor and sense of style. She was a gentle and gracious lady whose presence was taken from us far too soon. Take comfort in knowing she has been restored to her once vibrant self in the Kingdom of God.

I HAVE SO MANY FOND MEMORIES OF VANGIE, AS I VISITED MANY TIMES IN THEIR HOME. MY SISTER MARIGAIL AND I PLAYED WITH VAN MANY TIMES GROWING UP. I REMEMBER WHAT AN ATTRACTIVE LADY SHE WAS, ALWAYS DRESSED TO PERFECTION, AND THOSE BIG--FLASHING BROWN EYES--AND OH--HOW THEY DID SPARKLE WHEN SHE SAT DOWN AT THAT PIANO AND PLAYED "ST. LOUIE WOMAN!" I LOVED TO HEAR HER PLAY THE PIANO--SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. LINDA T. GASTON
