Born on October 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Chileski. Evelyn is survived by her beloved partner, Chin Shiek.
Evelyn lived a quiet and meaningful life, finding joy in the simple connections she made with others. She had a special fondness for speaking with foreign students in her neighborhood, always eager to learn about different cultures and experiences. Her interest in international friendships extended far beyond her community, as she maintained connections with people around the world through postcards and thoughtful correspondence. These relationships brought her great happiness throughout her life.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.
