Myrtle Beach and Ocean City, NJ, stood out as their favorite destinations, places vibrant with memories and laughter.
Evie was a devoted sister, spending winters in Arizona while Shirley continued her teaching career. Their time together in the desert sun was a testament to the warmth and closeness they shared as siblings.
Evie was a proud Rotarian in Au Sable Forks, where her compassion enriched many lives. She was instrumental in the stewardship of Fairview Cemetery, serving faithfully for years on the Board of Directors and ensuring its legacy endured for generations to come.
Professionally, Evie retired from Key Bank, where she reached the position of Vice President. Her leadership, integrity, and dedication were deeply respected by colleagues and clients alike.
Evie's faith was strong and uncompromising throughout even the most difficult times. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church her entire life and served in various roles offering her time and talents in any way she could.
