Evelyn (Evie) Kay Sharp Stanley passed away in her home on November 15, 2025. Born September 2, 1955 to Ray George and Donnabel Spratling Sharp. She married James (Robert) Stanley, on September 12, 1974 in the Salt Lake Temple.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Midvale. A second viewing will be held on Monday, November 24th from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, followed by the funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Westbrook 2nd Ward, 6500 S. Dixie Dr., West Jordan. Interment will take place at the West Jordan City Cemetery.

Evelyn is one of the sweetest ladies I´ve ever met. We moved into the Stanley´s neighborhood about three years ago, and Evelyn was one of the first people to greet us. She always was full of love.
When I would tell people about how wonderful my neighborhood was, I would often mention that we had the most adorable lady who would call me randomly and tell me a new joke that she heard. I will forever cherish these random calls from Evelyn and I hope that I can reach out with love to others like she did.
